Wednesday 14 August

Due to reduced numbers the planned Car Show meeting at the Chinaman is postponed. The Board Meeting will be conducted at Bendigo Bank Offices commencing at 7:30 pm. All members are welcome to attend.

Wednesday 21 August

Peter Refaat Nous runs houses for all sorts of people: those who need a fresh start, a push in the right direction, homeless or just haven’t been able to find the right place before now. He has a good support network that can be contacted depending on client needs. Peter understands how hard it is to get approved for a rental these days and likes to give everyone a fair go. He has zero tolerance for drug use. Peter has multiple houses, apartments and share housing. For those using drugs, he can point you in the right direction to get help and support and then put you into one of his temporary crisis sober houses. He also runs community meals from his food truck and feeds the homeless.

Partners and friends most welcome.

Brian Hodgson hosted a French themed dinner for those members still in town. Here he used Grand Marnier to flambe crepes suzette (named after wife Susan). Ray thought burning liquor was a waste!

100% of funds raised on the night goes toward the upkeep of our beautiful Mont De Lancey Historic Homestead, the keeper of our local Pioneer history!
