President's Message
Last Wednesday we had our Board meeting, my first as president for the new Rotary year. We had some very positive discussion on a wide range of topics and all on the Board are looking forward to a successful year ahead.
Last week, our Romac sponsored patient Serah and her sister Reina, arrived from Vanuata and on Friday had a consultation with the medical team. They are being hosted by a family in Yarrambat, and I am awaiting details of her surgery. I will also be organising a visit to see her in hospital when appropriate by a couple of our club members. Will keep everyone informed as things develop. Below are a few photos of their arrival in Australia.
This week we are meeting at the hub, and our guest speaker/s will be doing a presentation on “Veterans In Fishing”, organised through the RSL. Don’t forget to let Tim know of an apology or if you are bringing a guest and its byo drinks.
