President's Message
PRESIDENT’S REPORT
Last week we heard and watched a pictorial presentation of The Man Behind the Badge from Tim Manders. We learnt how from an early age his involvement and love of tractors led to a life focused around agriculture and the land. It was great to have AnneMarie present to make sure it was the Truth, the Whole Truth and Nothing but the Truth ! By listening to members life journey we get to appreciate and foster mutual understanding. Thanks Tim. Also last week Brian gave us a run through on what he has planned for Program for the rest of this year, and has asked for feedback. Please give it.
On a sad note, Mick Dawson who catered our Rotary Club meals at the Hub until recently passed away during the week due to illness. Further details to follow.
This week we have a Vocational visit to Evelyn Retirement village at Clegg Road, Mt Evelyn for afternoon tea and a "look around" at 4.00pm. This is also a fundraiser for the club and so we would really appreciate a few extra visitors.
On Wed night we have a Board Meeting at the Wandin Bendigo Bank boardroom at 6.30 commencing with communal pizzas. Thats it from me.
Yours in Rotary, Paul
