!! SPONSOR OF THE WEEK !!
President's Report
Hi All,
This week just gone, we had our monthly board meeting.
Quite a lot of material was covered as we caught up on two months of business due to a postponement of the previous meeting.
Over the next couple of months, we will be carrying out several events, including the start of the car show season.
This week at the HUB we will be presented by Martha as she gives us an insight into the Rotarian behind the badge. I’m sure we will all learn a thing or two from her many experiences.
Lastly, at the end of this coming week, the annual Wandin-Silvan Field Days are being held at the Wandin East Reserve. It looks to be another great year, so if you’re looking for a day out, or a new tool, come along and grab a red-hot deal!
Until next week,
Yours in Rotary,
Tim

John Nauka - Surgery at St Vincents Private Hospital
Last Monday, John had surgery to correct his club foot.
We are very grateful to our past Wandin Rotarian, Warwick Bisley, for visiting John twice, during the brief hospitalisation.
In Monday, home to host family at Yarrambat on Wednesday. Warwick lives very close to St V’s, but we are grateful for him taking the time to visit.
Due to strict security in the Childrens ward, no photos of the children are allowed.
John will have the cast removed and a new one applied, on Monday this week.
John and Mary in the Childrens Ward at St Vincents Private with the wonderful nurses.
Today John has had a larger cast put on his leg, which goes higher up his leg. A wheelchair with leg extension has been ordered, which will make life easier for all concerned.
