Hi All Hope Everyone is Doing Well this week and are having fun,
last week we had our Combined meeting with lilydale and upper yarra at Chrinside Park Sporting globe we had a very good night all about the environment and what both rotary and other organizations are working on and doing a fantastic job and we should all strive to improve and make those goals even larger
Special thanks to pat armstrong for her presentation especially its inspiring and makes a real difference to environmental protection and conservation.
This week we have a meet up at Wandin Pizza for a Fellowship Night ive been told to inform Tim of your attendance hope to see you all their
Be safe this week and ill see you all next time.
We have received this thank you letter from the Seville CFA
We can all be proud of the work we do
Artisan Event Info
To all Wandin Rotary Members
I thought to get an online booking service so stall holders can apply. I thought to get this happening asap so we can get about 16 stall holders booked in for the first event being May 31st Sunday 10am to 4pm.
I am sending it to you all so you have some knowledge of how this will all work for us.
Tomorrow I will be asking all the schools to come along to our first event, then they can take pictures of the Huge Yarra Valley EEL and go back and think of a name to enter into the name competition.
So in May they can come and see the EEL and Nominate a Name. With 10 local schools each nominating a Name thereafter people can come along and bid on the name (put money in a jar at the event (I will set up an online bidding donation service) . https://www.trybooking.com/online-giving this can go viral.
The name with the most donations wins.
All Donations go to Wandin Rotary for ??????? Maybe the school who wins gets Something Special ???????
It would be nice to have a list of what the money goes to - so people will know what they are supporting.
Next job is to set up the "Wandin Rotary - Community Connections - Creative Artisans Village" committee & program which I will do when I get back from Yamba 24th March.
Meanwhile, I will grow the eel, create a website / booking service / bidding service - for the WRCCCAV put the online activities into place so we can do some marketing and bring in people to help us with this event.
