Last Wednesday, we had our September board meeting, where a decision was made to make a $500 donation to a working bee to help a wife of a Wandin cricket club member who is in late stages of cancer. This is a Wandin community effort, organised by the Wandin cricket club.

Fly For The Kids at the Royal Children’s Hospital.
Fly For The Kids is a fundraiser to help establish an Australian-first, gene therapy centre at the Royal Children’s Hospital.
It is driven by Professor Andrew Kornberg, Senior Neurologist, who flew around Australia visiting patients attempting to raise $4.5 million.
Timing is critical for gene therapy - the earlier it is administered, the better the outcomes.
A dedicated gene therapy centre with dedicated beds available is essential to provide children with urgent, life-changing gene therapy, giving them the best chance to thrive.
Your generous support enables the Royal Children’s Hospital to be one step closer to establishing this Australian first gene therapy centre, helping children with genetic conditions get to live healthier, longer lives.
