Last Wednesday’s meeting was held in the Wandin CFA meeting room and we had a presentation from Jeanette on the pathway to establishing 1 or 2 satellite clubs which would be linked to and sponsored by Wandin Rotary. It was a very thorough and professionally presented information session and was well received by all in attendance. We need to support Jeanette fully in the planning and implementation of this and we will have upcoming meetings to workshop this. I personally believe this is a very positive venture for our club and will ultimately achieve an increase in membership as well as developing strong links back into the community. Thank you again to Jeanette who was ably assisted by Doreen, in providing a delicious 2 course meal, which was enjoyed by all in attendance.

The club also congratulated Bailey Hodgson on his application to become a member of Wandin Rotary. No objections were received on Bailey’s nomination, but as required by the rules, his acceptance is subject by the Boards approval. Bailey has also accepted the clubs offer of sponsorship to attend this years RYLA at Phillip Island in mid-July. We wish him all the best for this exciting opportunity.

This Wednesday, we have our first Board meeting under my presidency. It will be held at the Bendigo Bank Board Room with pizza or pasta to be had from 7pm, with the board meeting to commence at 7.30. All members are welcome to attend. That’s all from me for now – Enjoy your Bulletin!
